Sometimes you feel a little pressured in life. Ever get yourself over committed? Ever felt a little overwhelmed and realize you just can't get it all done?

I've learned the hard way that, 'Just because I have the skills does not mean I have the time!' Now I ask is it a good investment of time and then is it a good investment of my time - prior to saying yes to any request!

Actually, I was expecting a different kind of posting. J At a recent leadership retreat, we had the opportunity to climb a 40 foot pole and then jump out into thin air. Our team members were responsible for helping us slow our decent and return safely to the ground. The next morning I shared my experience on the pole - which had given me a different perspective than when I was simply cheering everyone else on.

As Leaders, we need to be involved in leading as well as sharing experiences along-side our teams to be truly effective.
